Three Wyndham teenagers have been arrested in relation to a home invasion in Melbourne’s west.
Police have been told five males armed, armed with machetes, forced their way into a St Albans home late Thursday night.
They demanded cash from the residents before assaulting the man and woman, who were later taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The group ransacked the home and ran off with cash.
Three people were arrested a short time later.
A 17-year-old boy, 15-year-old boy and 18-year-old man, all from Werribee, are helping police with their investigation.
