At least two people have been taken to hospital after a crash involving four cars in Newtown on Tuesday afternoon.Emergency services rushed to the intersection of West Fyans St. and Shannon Ave. at about 4.10pm.
Fortunately no one was trapped in any of the cars.

A woman believed to be in her 60’s and another woman believed to be in her 50’s were taken to hospital in a stable condition with upper body injuries.
The scene was declared under control by 4.20pm, with reports sections of road around the area have been closed off during peak hour traffic.
