An earlier Watch and Act warning has been downgraded to an advice for Mount Mercer, with a grassfire not yet under control.
The fire is travelling from Grahams Road and Gumley Road in a easterly direction towards Shelford-Mt Mercer Road.
Locals have been told there is currently no threat, but it is important to stay informed and monitor conditions.
