Damaging winds could hit parts of the Surf Coast and Otways, with a severe weather warning issued.
The Bureau of Meteorology is warning wind gusts of up to 90kmn/h are possible locally this morning, as a cold front approaches Victoria.
However the winds are expected to ease the front weakens and moves east across the state.
After sunshine over the weekend, a shower or two is forecast for Geelong today, with a top of 20 degrees.
The temperature will drop to 15 on Tuesday, and it will be even cooler on Friday, with 13 expected.
