An odd call out for firefighters on the Bellarine Peninsula – rescuing a galah from netting.
Members of the Queenscliff Fire Brigade were called to the local cricket club on Tuesday afternoon, finding the bird at the top of the nets.
The FRV was called in to help with the ladder platform, to help rescue the bird from the nets.

Once it was safely on the ground, the galah was placed into the hands of wildlife rescue.
