Crews called to e-scooter blaze

Two people have been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in Norlane.

Crews were called to reports an e-scooter exploded, resulting in the blaze on Rose Avenue just before 10am Tuesday.

They arrived to find the scooter on fire in the lounge room of the property.

Firefighters worked to bring the blaze under control, while a second crews cooled the impacted scooter in the front yard.

All residents managed to get out, but two were treated on the scene by paramedics for smoke inhalation.
