A Norlane man is facing charges after a traffic stop in Drumcondra.
The 35-year-old was stopped on The Esplanade after officers detected a car with allegedly cloned number plates.
The man allegedly returned a positive drug test, while police say a search of his vehicle found a commercial amount of drugs, weapons and cash.
He has been charged with various offences and remanded to face court at a later date.
It was part of Operation Lockdown, a major road policing operation in Geelong over Friday and Saturday nights.
They detected over 150 offences, including 28 drivers for speeding and 24 drink drivers.
Two women were caught swapping drivers when going into a breath test site in Belmont late Saturday night.
Both were breath tested and were over the blood alcohol limit.
Police are warning they will continue to focus on road safety and target impaired drivers over the coming months.
