Cats and Blues fans are being encouraged to plan ahead if they are using public transport to get to the game at the MCG.
Geelong and Carlton clash in Round 12 action from 7.40pm.
There are still disruptions on the local train line due to works happening at the West Tarneit station.
Chris Miller from Transport Victoria said extra buses and trains have been put on before and after the game.
“From 4pm, we’ve got express coaches running from Wyndham Vale Station all the way into Southern Cross station,” he said.
“After the game, from 8.30 till the last service, coaches departing Southern Cross to Wyndham Vale, and then trains running from Wyndham Vale to Waurn Ponds.”
He also encouraged locals to check the V/Line site for more information.
