A Geelong couple says giving their daughters a headstart on the property ladder is their priority after a big win in the lotto.
The pair claimed $700,000 as one of eight division one winners in Saturday night’s national draw.
“My husband normally puts the Lotto on, so he bought the ticket,” one of the winner said.
“He was panicking when he checked the ticket and I was wondering what was going on.”
The couple say the opportunity to support their kids is a special one.
“It will really help our daughters get into the housing market.
“Then we might retire as we’re getting to that age.
“We also want to be generous with the prize – help others around us.”
Always remember to gamble responsibly
