A man has been hospitalised following an incident at Kardinia Pool.
Reports the man – aged in his 70s – was pulled unconscious from the water, with CPR performed and a defibrillator used by patrons and centre staff.
Emergency services were called around 7.40am, and arrived shortly after to render further assistance for the man.

He was then transferred to Geelong hospital by ambulance.
A spokesperson praising the actions of staff and bystanders who stepped in before paramedics arrived.
