A Lara tobacco store’s front door has been damaged during a weekend incident.
Police believe what appears to have been a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the front door of the store on The Centreway around 3.30am Saturday.
However they say the device did not ignite, and there was only minor damage to the door.
There was no further damage to the shop.
Detectives from the Lunar Taskforce are now investigating.
The taskforce was established in 2023 to look at any criminal activity that may be linked to ongoing disputes between organised crime groups.
They are asking anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time, or who may have information on the incident to come forward.
