A week of travels for the Spirit of Tasmania with no passengers have been locked in for October.
The ships will not be sailing between October 23 and 30 as crew are moved to the new ships to train.
The new berth in Tasmania is set to be open in October.
TT-Line CEO Chris Carbone said the period was essential.
“The period also provides the opportunity to undertake live operational testing of systems and processes, helping ensure a smooth transition to service and a seamless customer experience when we commence sailings,” he said.
“The new ships have much more space, especially for caravans, motorhomes and other large vehicles.”
