A woman’s been arrested after an alleged assault in Thomson over the weekend which left another woman seriously injured.
Emergency services were called to a home on Godfrey Street at around 4pm Sunday afternoon, finding a 68-year-old woman injured inside.
She was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while a 57-year-old woman was arrested at the scene.

Police believe both women were known to each other.
The Thomson woman arrested has been charged with aggravated burglary and assault offences and will face court.
